As a Volunteer for the Sudbury Trail Run, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the event runs smoothly and successfully. This role involves a variety of tasks to support participants, spectators, and the event team, creating an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Setup & Teardown: Assist with setting up event stations, signage, and other infrastructure before the race, and help dismantle and pack away afterward.
Participant Support: Guide runners to registration, answer questions, and direct them to the start line and other key locations.
Course Marshaling: Stationed along the route, ensure runners stay on course, provide encouragement, and communicate any issues to the event team.
Aid Stations: Distribute water, snacks, and encouragement to runners at designated aid stations.
Finish Line Support: Hand out medals, water, and refreshments to runners as they cross the finish line.
General Assistance: Be ready to assist with various tasks as needed, ensuring the event's smooth operation.

This course is great for beginners and seasoned runners alike. This lapped trail run takes in the very best sights of historic Sudbury. Over a mixture of fields and paths take on a 6.5k, 13k or 26k run.
