How Hard Can it be
We have been involved in event management for over 11 years working on all race distances from 5K’s right up to Ultra Marathons. We are actively involved in the course build of numerous OCR’s that take place in the UK. When we launched How Hard Can it be Events, we wanted to make running events fun and put on events that we would want to take part in ourselves. That is why we have worked hard to host smaller, friendlier events, where people can relax and get to know people and enjoy the whole running experience. We think this philosophy is what makes us stand out from the crowd.

Did the race in 2018
I had entered to do an ultra distance but had to retire at 19 miles, rather than 38. Sometimes a run doesnt go to plan and your body says no and it was definitely colder than Id expected too. Im really looking forward to its sister race in December, Sunrise to Sunset.

The brief from the team was very thorough so I was very prepared. And they really looked after you at the pit stops.

First time running over 26 miles and the multi lap ultra version of the event was perfect for pushing myself to see how far I could go with the option to get out every 9 miles. Nice flat course. Would invest in a better nead torch and planned car parking a little better next time as even though the event organiser sent out details, due to rushing on the day had to just use car sat nav to find local car parks (2 mile walk). Taking a drop bag was a great idea and really helped prevent having to carry layers until the temp dropped and they were needed.
