Terrain off-road tracks, footpaths, bridleways, and a country lane
Route Type Loop
The race is open to runners of all abilities, from experienced athletes to social runners who want to try a challenging off-road course. It is a single-lap run through the woodlands of Limpsfield Common and the High Chart of Surrey and Kent. The course is almost entirely off-road along tracks, footpaths and bridleways, with a brief 200m stretch along a country lane.
The first two kilometres are flat, followed by some quite stiff drags as you climb onto the wooded plateau of the High Chart. Be assured that there are no steep hills. After the first water stop at 4.5k there is a short loop through the woods that brings you back to the same water stop at 6k. To finish, enjoy the fast run back, dropping down off the Chart for the run home. The finish is on the same bridleway that you ran along at the start.

There are two large off-road car parks available this year, at Plummers Arms Allotment, 5 minutes walk away along Westerham Road. Further off-road parking is located at Hazelwood School on Wolf’s Hill, a 15 minute walk away from race HQ. ALternatively, there are some small car parking areas within the Chart woodlands.
By Car
The Race HQ is Limpsfield Chart Golf Club, Westerham Rd (A25), Oxted, RH8 0SL. The nearest M25 junction to Race HQ is J6.
By Train
Oxted Station is the nearest railway service, about a 20 minute walk to Race HQ.

Age Requirements
10k: Participants must be 16 years and older to take part.
Cut-off time
There is no strict cut-off time. However, there is a Marshal sweep to ensure all runners are accounted for. As long as you are in front of the marshal, you will finish the race.
Race Packs for Early Entrants
Entrants who have entered in good time will have their race packs sent in the post 10 days before event day.
Race Packs for Later Entrants
Those who have entered in the 10 days before race day will collect their race pack at registration on the day of the event. If your race pack hasn’t arrived, head to the registration desk at race HQ and you can be issued with a new one.
First Aid
Tech Medical Services will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to ensure no runners stray off the designated route.
Water Stations
The first water station is at 4.5k. Then after a short loop through the woodlands, you return to the same water station at 6k.
Bag Drop
A secure place to store your bag will be located at Race HQ.
Toilets
Toilets will be available at Race HQ.
