Route information
The carefully planned route takes you from the vibrant quayside, through the industrial areas along the river to the beautiful country parks and riverside meadows. Experience the beauty of nature as you run along scenic trails, winding roads, and hidden gems that showcase the best our region has to offer.
The route follows the Hadrians Way cycle way on the North side of the river Tyne to Bywell, where it crosses the bridge before arriving at Stocksfield Cricket club. Upon leaving here, follow the south bank of the river back to Hag bridge to Wylam then continue your journey onward to Newcastle following the Keelmans way.
There will be a water and feed station at Wylam (10 and 22 miles) as well as a free halfway buffet at Stocksfield Cricket Club (mile 16).

There is a generous time limit of 10 hours for this event. This is to allow you to fully immerse yourself in your surroundings, connect with fellow participants and savour the moments along the way.
All runners must attend registration at race HQ, where you will collect your running packs.
Aid Stations
There will be a snack and water station at the 10 and 22 mile points, as well as a halfway free buffet. You are encourage to supplement this by carrying your own hydration, nutrition and any necessary equipment
