An undulating course, with a couple of longish hills towards the end. This multi-terrain event promises beautiful scenery and a great atmosphere, run on private land and quiet tracks and roads. Also 4k option.

Great low-key, friendly event on a testing hilly 10k off-road course. East Grinstead Tri Club (www.egtri.com) have been using the Gallop as part of our Winter GP series for the last few years and we love it! Surprisingly firm underfoot as you are up on the well-drained downs, a couple of water stations manned by super-hero costumed kids and bacon butties available at the finish. Brilliant!

Really good race although you have to be careful with your footing with the uneven terrain and woodland areas

This was my second participation. Great course for a great cause. Slightly more challenging than last year which ch was a pleasant surprise. Sign me up for next year! Thanks to all the volunteers, especially the little ones

Great course, really up and down and quite challenging. The organisers were super friendly - one even gave me a lift to the local train station. Highly recommended - dont expect a PB though!

Really good run! It has some pretty tough hills and muddy bits, but very rewarding. The only improvement is I haven't been notified of my time and the website results are not current. But I'd deffo do it again next year!

Ideal race to get you back into things ahead of the new season. A good challenge with >200m climbing, along a great route with views of the new Centernary wood. Was my first time doing the Vale Gallop but I'm already looking forward to next year!

This was the third time I've done the Vale Gallop and I'll keep on going back, as I find the course is a great trail run in a lovely countryside setting. Organisation is smooth, and the atmosphere is really friendly.
