Route information
Although this is a day early, you can still share the love at The Valentine's Day Challenge. And even better, it won't take away from any of your Valentine's Day plans!
Competitors will complete laps of a 5.3k lap throughout Hinchingbrooke Country Park. The course itself will be flat over mixed terrain, with a combination of gravel footpaths and grass sections. You will have 6 hours to complete as many laps as you can, and if you're lucky maybe a little bit more because if you leave the base camp before 5:59:59, you can complete one more lap!
But don't be alarmed by this long time limit, this event is for runners of all abilities. This could be a great opportunity to run your first 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Marathon or even Ultra Marathon. You can run as few or as many laps as you wish, resting between laps or pushing yourself through the whole 6 hours.
When signing up, you'll be asked to pick the distance you aim to run, theres no pressure to run this distance its just a gauge!
For those more experienced athletes looking to really push themselves, this is a brilliant opportunity to run a long distance with no other complications, no navigation, no kit required and with feed stations every lap.
Whether you are looking to run your 1st 10k, or your 50th Marathon, the brilliant Zig Zag Running team will cheer you all the way around.
