Route information
This hilly fully-marked course will take you 40 miles along the coastal paths from Porthcawl to Penarth in Wales. As you traverse this trail you will explore fantastic beaches, cliffs, and castles. You will stop by at checkpoints as you go to recharge, refuel and rest. Along this route there will be 6 checkpoints where you can get your hands on snacks, drinks, and maybe even a beer if you feel up to it. This dramatic landscape is one not to miss in this bucket list adventure. Make sure to come prepared for a rather hilly and challenging 40 mile route. As this event has no cut-off time there will be plenty of time to take in the breathtaking scenery.

Parking
There is parking located by the start line along the Porthcawl Esplanade.
By Car
Porthcawl is directly East of London. Take the M4 for 163 miles and come off at junction 37 to Porthcawl/Pyle/Pil.
By Train
If travelling from London you can take the Swansea bound Paddington station train to Bridgend. From Bridgend, you can take a 23 minute bus straight to Porthcawl.

This event has no cut-off time, and the organiser will allow you to finish if you are physically capable to do so.

All checkpoints will be manned and will be fully stocked with snacks, fruit, drinks, music, and a few beers.
