The Wales 10k, now in its 3rd year, will be taking part during the final day of the Long Course Weekend, on the fully closed roads of The Wales Marathon. Heading from Manorbier to Tenby's award winning red carpet finish, dedicated athletes and fun runners alike will earn themselves the knowledge that they have raced in the first year of what is sure to be a huge event for years to come.

Taking place alongside The Wales Marathon, athletes will line up at the start line in Manorbier to compete in The Wales 10k, heading along fully closed roads back to Tudor Square in Tenby.

The Wales 10K route

Sunday will see runners head to Manorbier for the Wales 10k with fully closed roads all the way to the red carpet finish line in Tudor Square, Tenby.

The Wales 10k starts in Manorbier at 1:30pm, from outside the shop. Timing mats and archway will mark the start line.

There will be two feed / water stations along the route at approximately 3km and 6km. The cut off time for The Wales 10k is 4pm in Tudor Square, Tenby.

Bags can be collected when your race is over from St Johns Church in Tenby.

Runners have to be age 14+, 16+ for the Half Marathon and 18+ for the Full Marathon.

12:45pm Wales 10k Mandatory Briefing (Approx) at Manorbier Castle
1:30pm THE WALES 10K START from Manorbier Castle
12:30pm – 5:00pm Sports Massage at St Marys Church Hall, Tenby
4.00pm Overall Cut Off, Tudor Square, Tenby


Will there be timing chips?

Yes – Timing chips are on your bib and must be pinned to the front of your chest.

 When is the closing date for Registration?

The closing date will be as close as possible to the event, in order to make final event arrangements. This date will be published closer to the time, but as a rough guide, last year it was 4 weeks before the event.

 Will there be drink stations on the route?

Yes – they will be every 3 miles and they will alternate between a drink and feed station. However, if you would like to carry any energy gels to keep you going, please feel free to do so.

 Is the run mainly on roads or is it multi-terrain?

The route is on fully-closed roads, with some spectacular Pembrokeshire scenery. If you’d like to view the route
