Route information
This fantastic course covers the Pembrokeshire coastline and is held within the world renowned National Park. There are alternating swims and runs with the full swimrun course encorporating 7 swims and 7 runs. The sprint distance will start at Lydstep Haven and follow the same route as the full for the remainder of the course.

Registration
You will need to show photo ID at registration in order to check in and receive your race pack. You will need to present mandatory kit at registration. Registration will take place at New Inn, Amroth.
Checkpoints and Cut-offs
There will be 4 checkpoints along both the full and sprint distances. You will need to pass through all checkpoints regardless if you require refreshments or not. You will need to reach the checkpoints before the cut-off times. Cut-off times will be released closer to the event.

Team Entry
You can enter individually or as a team of 2. Teams must be no more of 10m apart at any time during the race (tied swims recommended).
Age Requirements
All participants must be at least 18 years old on event day to compete in the full distance, and aged 16 or over to compete in the sprint distance.

Do I need a swim cap for The Wales SwimRun?
You must wear the Activity Wales Events swim cap provided for the event which will be given to you at registration. You can choose to wear your own cap under the event one.
What is the minimum age to enter The Wales SwimRun?
The minimum age is 18 years of age for the Full distance and 16 for the Sprint Distance.
Do I have to wear a wetsuit for The Wales Swimrun?
Yes, wetsuits are compulsory for this event. Wetsuits must be suitable for water temperature of 10 degrees Celsius.
