My 1st ever 10K and I have since run 8. Although I was really nervous I absolutely loved completing the run and getting a medal. I just wish the weather was a little better on the day as we would have stuck around longer afterwards but I will be back for 2023!

Great set up, hosting & fully enjoyed the whole experience (surprisingly for someone who isn't a big runner!)

Have been waiting years for a Hale 10k and finally it happened!! Thank you for organising a great event. My only comment is the last few metres on the cobbles was hairy: slippery, uneven and as they are right at the end of the race people are sprinting. So if the route could avoid them next time it would be even more amazing!

The organisation could have been better. From arrival and being told the car park attendant didn't know where the start was, to getting stuck in the muddy car park when leaving. Just minor things, but it seemed they hadn't really thought about these things. Other things like only 5 toilets to a strange finish, didn't help either. Having said that, I enjoyed the race. The course was good and hopefully they'll do it again next year.

Not the best weather but a good run nonetheless. Parking a bit tricky with some cars stuck in the mud. Medal was good and snacks after too. Helpful Marshall's too
