Route information
The course at Wendover woods is perfect for all abilities of runners. You will be running amongst the trees through the forest, along some amazing undulating trails which will reward you with stunning views. Choose from either a 5 mile, single-loop course or step up your mileage with the 10 mile double-loop course. There will also be a 1k race for children.
This route should be quiet but there will be other forest users and bicycles crossing the routes, so make sure to stay alert throughout the race.

Event day logistics
10:00 Event starts
Race Packs
Entrants who have entered in good time will have their race packs sent in the post 10 days before event day.
Those who have entered in the 10 days before race day will collect their race pack at registration on the day of the event.
If your race pack hasn’t arrived, head to the registration desk at race HQ and you can be issued with a new one.
A full set of race instructions will be sent via email before the event.
Age requirements
- 10 mile: Entrants must be 16 years or older to participate in this event
- 5 mile: Entrants must be 15 years or older to participate in this event
- 1k race: Children of all ages are welcome to participate
Prizes
There are a number of prizes on offer to leading men and women, plus a variety of age categories, and team prizes in both the 10 & 5-mile. races.

There will be no cars on the route, but there will be other forest users on the trails so make sure to keep alert throughout.

Yes, St Johns Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be attendance on the day, there will also be marshals on the course that will be able to assist.
