Wild 10 Mile
The 10 Mile run will follow a figure of eight route that will take you over a variety of terrains. The first three miles will be mainly uphill following the river to Shipley Bridge. There's then a short tarmac section before you get out onto Dartmoor. You will run along Dockwell Ridge towards the moor exit near Dockwell Farm. Expect everything from blizzards to waist deep bog in this section of the run. The course then heads to Didworthy and back via Aish Ridge and Lydia Ridge.
This will not be an easy race!
Mild 5 Mile
The 5 mile course, while it may be shorter, it is still wild. You will follow the stunning river path from South Brent to Shipley Bridge. This will be mainly uphill, with a couple of short downs. You will then loop round to descend a steep rocky track before rejoining the last section of the river path.
Both courses will be fully marked and marshalled, and in the dark.

Great course, only let down by local landowners removing markers just before the race.

A proper trail run. Parts are brutal but brilliant. A race for the purists with something for everyone. A fab event 👍
