It was very desorganized, nobody was there to advertise when the way changed, and I did’nt see the small mark, so I was lost and spent 3h30 do finish the race

Staff, check points and medal all fab, so friendly and welcoming, excellent variety of sweet and savoury snacks at the check points. The course wasn’t one of my favourites, just a personal preference, it’s a slight downhill on the way down, consequently a slight uphill on the way back. I have a habit of starting off faster than I should when I start with a pack and because of the route rather than dropping off and sticking to my own plan, I carry on as if I’m Mo Farah to my detriment later! However having such an out and back repeat route has its benefits: you don’t have to navigate, you have decent check points every 4.5 miles (and portaloo every 9!), you have the same constant friendly faces passing you by and cheering each other on. Whilst such a route might not be for everyone, if you wanted to go out on your own but were nervous about navigation or fuelling properly, this would be just the place to go! Thanks to all involved for a challenging but great day!

First time there and lovely route. Wasn't much atmosphere however understandable as many were still running as there were so many different races.Really enjoyed amd lovely organisers there.

A fantastic race in some beautiful scenery. A nice clean start and some friendly competitors who were supporting each other throughout the event. I feel like a plastic-less event should provide some form of drinking apparatus - such as plastic cups to support runners. Being more of a trail run there isnt a huge crowd at the end to cheer you home. A great race though!
