Route information
Trail through this stunning landscape, reaching the summit of one of the Cheviots highest points. Witness iconic scenery such as Reaveley Hill, Cunyan Crags, Dunmoor and Hedgehope.
This deep winter half marathon run is fully marked and lined with marshals to help you out should you have any problems.
Carrying the appropriate kit is not only essential to your safety but to having a stress free run if you face adverse weather conditions.

Kit List
This kit list has been carefully designed to include every essential item you could need. You must have these items whilst on your run. If you do not have the following items, then you may be disqualified.
- Trail running shoes/off-road trainers
- Enough fluid for 2 hours of running
- Emergency whistle
- Full body waterproofing. Upper and lower body.
- Hat and gloves
- Whistle
- Emergency survival bag
- Mobile phone
- OS Map OL16 or an OS print out of the route
Feed Station
There will be a food station near to the midway point on the course.
Toilets
Toilets are available at registration. Please use these facilities before you start the race.

Can I run with my dog at The Winter Wipeout?
Unfortunately, due to restrictions under UKA rules, dogs are not permitted onto the course.
What is the Latest I can sign up for The Winter Wipeout?
Entries close 1 week prior to the event or when the maximum number of entrants is reached. So register today to confirm your place.
What is the minimum age to enter The Winter Wipeout?
