The Woodchurch 10 & 5 Mile routes

The village of Woodchurch is a wonderful setting to log some longer fall-time miles in this 10 or 5 mile race. Run on the undulating lanes surrounding the village, the race will be a lapped route starting at finishing at The Green in Woodchurch.

The 10 mile will be 2 laps of the 5 mile course. There will be a 1 mile chip-timed Children's Race at 9am.

This was a great run. It's very "undulating" (meaning lots of uphill) but I loved it. It is very scenic, as always with a Nice Work race, very well organised and everyone was friendly and helpful. The local scout group provided water at mile 3 and there were burgers/hot dogs and cakes when we finished. The registration was in the village hall which was a nice dry place to prepare and use proper toilets. A great race which I will do again.

The only reason I didn't rate it 5 for atmosphere was that it was the first year of the race so there weren't that many runners. The course was great, facilities good - although they'll need more loos if they get more runners next year. Nice scenery. Helpful volunteers. Will sign up for next year.

Great course through nice scenery. Mostly flat or gentle slopes. Shame more of the roads (especially the narrower ones) couldn’t be closer but it was overall a nice friendly event. A longer course instead of two laps would be nice in future.

I am not from Woodchurch village but the village atmosphere was amazing. I was made to feel really part of the event, and raising money for the local school too is a great bonus. There was a brilliant buzz around the children's one mile race too.
