The Staplehurst 10k supports the Staplehurst Community Events Group and has grown to become one of the most popular 10km races in Kent. It is one of the county's fastest courses with genuine PB potential. The course is rural, using the wide, fast and virtually flat country lanes outside the village.

Medals will be awarded to all finishers and the race features chip timing. Prizes will be awarded to the leading runners and age category winners.

The race is generously sponsored by Yew Tree Construction & Landscaping.

The course takes place in and around the quiet country lanes on the outskirts of Staplehurst village and is primarily flat with no noticeable hills. The Start will be on the Playing Fields. Fabulous race! The course is beautiful, the stewards and crowds are friendly and very supportive, plenty of water stations and well organised. I look forward to running it again next year.

Excellent route, well organised and very friendly Marshalls. Coffee gram the scout hut was a lovely treat.

Another well organised event from Nice Work. It's a decent run through quiet lanes once put of Staplehurst. A few gentle inclines near the end to test you out but other than that, a pretty fast course. Would definitely come back and do it again.
    • Did the 10k in 2019

This was a first class organised race. There were plenty of parking, toilets, Boy Scouts run breakfasts and coffee in the cafe and ice cream van! There were loads of encouraging marshals as well as signposts at every tern. You couldn't get lost even if there were no marshals. There were three stops for water and plenty of it. The route was scenic and mostly flat. There was a bottle of wine each for the usual winners and also age graded even for the 70+. Biscuits to finish with to, Nice touches by Nice-Work

Well organised, great & almost completely flat course, quiet roads/minimal traffic. Really enjoyable 10K. 3 well spaced water stops. Nice medal and water and snack as soon as crossed the line.
