Beyond Thorney Trail Fest routes
The 5 km is a really relaxed affair, its about fun, and pushing yourself, not everyone can smash out 5 minute miles, thats fine, come and run and just enjoy.
The 10 km route will be two loops of the course, with varied terrain including woodland, open space, water (only to look at), there is no rush, never done 10 km, come have a go, do a lap have a rest and a drink sit in the sun, relax and finish your course, or come and try your 10 km in one go.
The 21km (Half Marathon) is considered a good distance to properly test yourself with, normally you would be pushed to finish within a certain time, not here and not with us, you start, you finish, its quite simple, we want everyone who starts the Half to finish, if you have your sights set on the next step (Marathon), come and see where your fitness level is, and train accordingly,
The individual is quite simply as many laps of the 5 km course in the stipulated time, run or rest, your time is ticking, go for the win or enjoy the feeling of not being rushed to finish, its not often you can run and be fed and watered every 5 km.
