Swim
This is a 3600m point to point swim in Derwentwater, from Brandlehow back to the Festival Village.
The water temperature will be between 10°C - 14°C so please prepare yourself accordingly.

After the swim, you will take some time to change and refuel yourself before venturing on a 25k trail run through the scenic Borrowdale Valley. You will head into the wilds, under Falcon Crag, to trail over some technical rocky single-track paths into the Watendlath Valley.
Your toughest climb of the day will be Grange Fell, followed by a fast descent towards Rosthwaite Institute. End with the famous Bob Graham Round finish.
Cycle
For the bike portion of this race, you have a choice of two cycle routes.
The Hell in the Fells Gravel Ride is a 67k cycle through the Lake District National Park. You will ride around the flanks of Skiddaw, the shores of Bassenthwaite and the trails of Whinlatter Forest.
The second choice is The Back O'Skiddaw 70k sportive with a staggering 650m of ascent. This course is fully tarmacked with a few steeply undulating single tracks.

Please note that there is parking available at the campsite and this is included in the ticket price.
Keswick Rugby Club is the official car park for this event, situated a short 5-minute walk to the Festival site. Parking for this car park is ticketed and must be booked in advance when booking your entry for this race. The opening times for this car park are as follows:
- Friday 20 May - 07:00-23:00
- Saturday 21 May - 06:30-23:00
- Sunday 22 May - 05:00-17:00
There is also a Pay & Display car park available adjacent to the Festival Site and the Theatre.
