Route information
Walker Fold is on the South side of the historic Winter Hill, and is part of the stunning Smithills Estate in the heart of Bolton's beautiful countryside. The trail course takes in undulating hills and woodlands, and the mixed terrain contains stone, mud and water. The route is marked and signposted throughout.

Get full directionsLocation: Walker Fold Car Park, Smithills, Bolton, BL1 7PT
Parking:
The Car Park is open 8am-4pm. It is just a few miles from Bolton town centre. To get there, travel North on Smithills Dean Road and then turn left onto Colliers Row Road. As the road turns South, the car park will be on your right.
Please arrive early, as parking will be limited.
Event day logistics
Remember to collect your Race Number and Timing Chip at Registration.
Schedule:
18:00: Registration opens
19:00: 5K Race Starts
20:30: Cut off time (1hrs30mins)
The Prize Giving will take place on the stage by Registration once the last runners have finished.
