Terrain: Paths and Trail
This beautiful route will take participants through the surroundings of Eridge Park. This park is usually closed-off to the public, so this event offers a unique chance to tread where only few have gone.
There will be luscious natural scenery dotted throughout both the 10k and 5k routes, making for a great day out for friends and family.

Parking
Free parking will be available on the event site, parking areas will open at 08:00.
By Car
Take the A21 and turn onto Bayham Road, follow along through Frant Road and turn onto Mayfield Road. Next, follow towards Eridge Park and arrive at the event site.
By Train
Tunbridge Wells Train station is the closest train station, it is a short taxi ride to the event site.

Race Packs
Race Packs will be sent across to participants around 4 weeks before the event.
Please fill out the runner information form attached in the race pack in order to aid the EO in the instance of emergencies.
Your race bib and number will be included in the pack, the bib will include a chip which will track your time.
Age Requirements
You must be aged at least 18 years old to enter the event online and aged 15 years or over on race day. Those under this age should contact the event organiser via the link below and a consent form will be sent to participants.
Cut-off time
The cut-off time for the event is 12:15, participants have 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete the 5k and 10k courses.
Aid Stations
Water and aid stations can be found at the 3.5k and 6k marks on the route. Please ensure that you consider the environment and bring a reusable drinks container with you.
Food and Drink
There will be various food and drink outlets available at the event site.
Charity
The event will raise money for vulnerable veterans and those with disabilities. Charitable activities make up 80% of the RLI's income, so any fundraising from participants is hugely appreciated.
Fundraising
All participants must pledge to fundraise to support the Armed Forces Community.
It is recommended that participants set up a fundraising page online to collect donations. Justgiving, Facebook, and Virgin money are preferred fundraising page domains.
If collecting donations via cash, please send your money to the EO via bank transfer.
Bag Drop
There will not be a bag drop facility. Participants are recommended to bring a running belt or pocket for valuables.
First Aid
There will be first aid personnel located at aid stations, there is also a recovery area located at the finish line.
Toilets
There are toilets located at the event site for participants to use.

Guide runners are permitted at the event, please contact the event teams by email and a free entry place will be provided to the runner.

Participants are not recommended to wear headphones.

Spectator Info
Spectators and volunteers are hugely encouraged at this event. Please email the fundraising events team to register your interest if volunteering sounds like something you'd like to get involved in.
Animals are not permitted at the event aside from guide dogs, so please leave your friendly pooch at home unless you need him/her.

I had a wonderful morning. Coming back from a horrid cold and chest infection I was pleased to get round. Marshslls were fab . Organisation was good once we sorted out my lost payment. Prosecco at the end was a treat. Thank you all for a hugely well run event.
