Torbay Triathlon Summer routes

The second Torbay Triathlon event of the year is the perfect mid-summer event to add to the calendar. Held at the Torbay Velopark, this triathlon festival is a fantastic event to get the whole family involved in triathlons.

The course begins with a swim in the newly refurbished 25m pool, followed by speedy laps around the super-smooth tarmac of the velopark. To finish off the race, athletes will run a number of laps of flat and fast parkland as they zoom towards the finish line.

With varying distances for junior and youth events, two events to choose from for adults, and a completely traffic-free course, it's the perfect place to score that first triathlon finish, and will keep you coming back for more.

Sportiva Events needs marshals. Ask any event organiser and most will say finding enough is an ongoing struggle. So put something back into the sport you love by helping at an event. It’s generally a fun morning (or afternoon) and competitors always appreciate support from the team of marshals. And as an extra incentive they are happy to pay £20 expenses (or give you free entry to a future event) for anyone who helps out for 2-4 hours. Or they’ll pay up to £60 for anyone able to help for the whole day.

And if you’ve already entered but are injured they’ll defer your place for FREE if you volunteer to marshal & pay you £20 expenses.

Just call or text on 07866 567 894 or fill in the form at They’ll add you to their Volunteers list and get in touch a couple of weeks before our next event.
