Been doing tough mudder for a while now, but my first at badminton. Great venue, friendly people, good mixture of obstacles, flattish course compared to the others and well organised. Parking is a bit steep, so are a few items at the purchase tent, but overall I recommend it.
I had been really sceptical about doing a tough mudder basically thinking it was all a bit gimmicky, wouldn't be intense or that fun. I WAS SO WRONG. Traditionally I've enjoyed racing largely through running but this was such an epic change. The no timing thing is really awesome and let's you actually enjoy the race. Also some of the obstacles are actually pretty intense (especially the ice skip and the electric wires). It's basically just all a total blast and would totally do it again and indeed have done. One thing I was surprised by was how technical some of the ground was between obstacles. Don't try and run fast between obstacles as the dodgy terrain will ruin your ankles! Just enjoy it and chill between obstacles.
