Tour Du Mont - 1st Half
The route follows the Ultra Trail Du Mont Blanc, one of the world's toughest races. In this event, you will explore the first half of the route which will include steep climbs and rewarding scenery. Come for a fantastic adventure as you explore the valleys and their peaks.

Accommodation is in a 4* spa hotel at Le Refuge des Aiglons (or a similar alternative) including breakfast each morning and an evening meal at one of Chamonix's highly rated restaurants. This is on a twin-sharing basis unless you have requested a single room (which if available, there is a supplement). Amenities include the spa which has a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna, the hotel also has an outdoor space to relax in and free WiFi as well as a beautiful atrium bar area. It’s located in the centre of Chamonix.
Transport to/from Chamonix via Geneva can be booked via one of the many minibus operators (e.g. Chamexpress, Mountain Drop-Offs, Alpybus, or Easybus) that provide a regular shuttle service if you are a group we can arrange this and can be added to your invoice.

How long is the Tour du Mont Blanc - 1st Half?
This portion (the first half) of the trip takes place over 3 days, and averages ~17 miles (27k) per day. Much of this route involves hiking (rather than running) because of the steep inclines.
How difficult is the Tour du Mont Blanc - 1st Half?
Very difficult, it is recommended that all participants have a strong level of fitness. The Alps are notoriously steep and will test participants' strength.
What level of fitness do I need for the Tour du Mont Blanc - 1st Half?
All entrants must be able to run marathon distance in around 4 hours or less and have experience running on trails.
