The biggest issue we had was the early start. We had our number posted out so planned to arrive at 6.30 ready for the 6.50 wave. Unfotunately we got caught out by the closed roads and ended up late, joined a later wave and so started much later than expected. The start was well done, route was just fab, good coffee and cake at the pit stops, lovely finish with the foot trucks. All in all, we had a blast.

Worth it just for the stunning scenery alone. Definitely recommended as a must do Sportive in the UK.

It’s a great ride with challenging climbs and fast descents. Best feed stations of any sportive I’ve done.
