It was a great trail course, I ran the canicross event with my dog. It was a hot day and the water provision for dogs was inadequate (hence 4 stars for organisation) I saw one ice cream tub and one steel dog dish with water in it on the course. No more than one dog could access the vessel at a time and most dogs don’t like drinking other dogs drool, so pleas in future provide big garden thugs with water in for dogs to gather around. I do carry water for my dog in an emergency but no one wants to stop and decant during a race if it can be avoided. Other than that, excellent event. I didn’t need to use the toilets but I understand that there were not enough.

My first half marathon distance race and I loved it!Great fun course, well signed and encouraging martial's.Only negative was the toilet situation, limited in numbers and not working correctly/no water pressure but organisers have apologised and said they would resolve in future... I will definitely keep an eye on this event in future years!

Beautiful hilly trail course. Some bits quite narrow. Through tracks and woods. Well marshalled. Bring your own water cup. Nice coffee van at the start/finish.

This is the second time my wife and I have attended the event and we have enjoyed it both times. However, the toilet situation was pretty appalling this time round. We have to travel over an hour to get the event so it would be nice to know better facilities are in place next time. I want to make it clear that the team on site were fantastic as usual and cannot thank everyone enough for being there to make the event run smoothly. The 3 star rating for the organisation is only a reflection of the toilets. Also - a minor point - but it is nice to have the year (date) of the race on the medal or at least on the ribbon. This makes it more memorable - especially if you attend more than one Mapledurham event. Thanks again. George

Really nice course, narrow in places so you might get caught in a spot of traffic.

Course was beautiful (albeit very hilly!) Organsiation was great, 3 stars as there were only 2 toilets, which were really unpleasant.

Great route, low key race. Not enough toilets though and this is the major area for improvement

Really nice day. Areas for improvement:, You couldn’t hear the p.a at the start. Needs more toilets. More options than just water at the stations and finally, the concrete farm road is a horrible, bone shaking running surface. But an enjoyable day with nice people.

The organisers were great at cheering everyone on and trying to get others cheers too but by the time I came in in the half marathon (2hrs 23) there wasn’t many people around to cheer people in. I imagine the atmosphere was better for those doing the 10km
