This trail running event is set on the rural grounds of Mapledurham and is the perfect way to keep you active next autumn. You will take on an undulating, multi-terrain course, with stunning natural scenery. You can even choose to run alongside your favourite canine companion.

Route information
Taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Mapledurham Estate, just a few minutes from Reading, the course starts near the Country Park. Winding through estate trails, local roads, woodlands, and footpaths runners will be taken past the famous water wheel and legendary site from 'The Eagle Has Landed'.
In this undulating multi-terrain run, the scenery is well worth the hard work. We have a NEW breathtaking trail course using a single lap for both the 10km and half marathon.
The Canicross 10k is an event for all dog-lovers. Bring your pup along on your run with you. This event will start separately to the main field.
All courses will be clearly way-marked with red & white tape, yellow arrows and km & mile distance markers. You'll be supported by marshals out there to look after you on the course.

From the A4074 – either from Caversham or Woodcote directions, take the road signed for Mapledurham House at the Pack Saddle pub.
Parking
There is free parking available at the estate within yards of the start/finish area. Parking will be signed from the main road (A4074) at the Pack Saddle pub. The car park entrance location is https://w3w.co/lunch.trio.wipes

Age Requirements
All entrants must be 16 and older to enter the 10k, and 18 and older to enter the Half Marathon.
Cut-off Times
There are cut-off times in place for each distance:
- 10k - 1 hour 40 mins
- Half Marathon - 3 hours
Race Briefing
The race briefing will take place online in advance of race day.
Water Stations
10k runners will pass 2 self-service water station on the course
Half Marathon runners will also pass 4 water stations.
Spectator Info
The best place to watch your runner is from the start/finish area. Half Marathon runners will be pass through this area as they continue on their course.

Is there a bag drop at the Trail Mapledurham?
There will be no official bag drop for this event but if you need help finding somewhere to store your items during the race you will be helped. Bags will be left at their own risk. It is recommended by the event organiser to leave your bags and belongings in your locked car, keeping valuables out of sight.
Can I wear headphones/earphones during the Trail Mapledurham?
No, unfortunately you are not permitted to wear headphones/earphones as this may inhibit you from hearing important instructions from marshals.
