The 4 UK Ultra races are essentially on parts of the same route at some point, so Trail-Run Explorers have broken them down into 7 separate point to point runs covering in the region of 15-31 miles, creating the Recce Series. The Recce runs are a great way to get some longer training runs in with company and also to familiarise yourself with the routes/terrain of the UK Ultra races.
The runs are for all levels of fitness and will be run at a pace suitable for the whole group. To be clear, these are not races, so if you are looking to zoom off at a 6 minute pace, then this perhaps isn't the event for you.
Recce 1 will take runners on a scenic route from Arundel to Beeding Hill Car Park / Upper Beeding. The run will be approximately 19 miles long, covering miles 1-19 of the 100k Uk Ultra Race. Expect hills, views and a fantasticly supportive atmosphere.
