The workshop shall begin by having an individual technique assessment.
The qualified coach will guide the group through a variety of trails and terrains set in the rural landscape of Guildford. The coach will demonstrate, advise and help you practice a variety of running techniques, including foot placement, uphill technique (walking and running), downhill technique and much more.
Better understanding how your body moves when running uphill or downhill will maximise your performance as well as minimise the risk of injury. That is why a workshop like this is integral to enhancing your trail running experience.
There are limited places on this course in order to give as personal an education on trail running as possible.

What training / experience do I need to participate in the Trail Workshop - June?
This is an all-abilities training programme. However, it is recommended by the coach that you can comfortably run 5k in order to enjoy the sessions.
Do you have trail running shoes available at the Trail Running Workshop - June?
