Route information
The Long Route has been carefully designed to allow riders to warm up before taking on some monumental climbs. The first two hours are mostly rolling roads and riders can appreciate the scenic countryside. After a quick feed stop, riders are then subject to 40 miles of relentless climbing before heading out of the Wolds and into Trent Valley. Riders need to save their strength as the route finishes with one final climb up to race HQ.
The Medium Route shares the same start as the Long Route up until the first feed stop. However following the feed stop the route veers off across a heavily marshalled section of Lincoln (just 2 Miles) and then back out towards Scampton. This section is largely rolling roads but there are a few short but sharp climbs thrown in for good measure.
The Short Route is less challenging than its longer counterparts but still offers a tough test of cycling ability. The route covers gently rolling roads but with some steep climbs around mile 17 and 20. It is simple great way to finish the season.
