Trent Valley 100 routes

The Long Route has been carefully designed to allow riders to warm up before taking on some monumental climbs. The first two hours are mostly rolling roads and riders can appreciate the scenic countryside. After a quick feed stop, riders are then subject to 40 miles of relentless climbing before heading out of the Wolds and into Trent Valley. Riders need to save their strength as the route finishes with one final climb up to race HQ.

The Medium Route shares the same start as the Long Route up until the first feed stop. However following the feed stop the route veers off across a heavily marshalled section of Lincoln (just 2 Miles) and then back out towards Scampton. This section is largely rolling roads but there are a few short but sharp climbs thrown in for good measure.

The Short Route is less challenging than its longer counterparts but still offers a tough test of cycling ability. The route covers gently rolling roads but with some steep climbs around mile 17 and 20. It is simple great way to finish the season.

    #2

Sportive HQ are ranked #2 in the UK out of 267 organizers

Sportive HQ was formed by Matthew Porter in 2014, after having approximately 10 years experience in the organisation of various types of cycling events. It was very much the feeling that sportives were becoming more expensive over the last few years and that need not be the case, value for money can be put alongside quality events. Sportive HQ works alongside local clubs to produce events that riders will want to do every year. We listen to what riders want from an event and endeavour to meet those requests. At Sportive HQ we like to keep things simple, ample free parking, showers, changing rooms, a timed event with well spaced, well stocked feed stations and routes to challenge everyone of all abilities. Sportive HQ helps in the production of many local charity events and have helped raise, alongside local clubs, in excess of £50,000 for local charities over the last few years.

      Totally brilliant ride.
Start/finish location ideal with parking and showers.
The route is brilliant with stunning views with the best signage. My Garmin stopped working halfway round but didn't bother me as the signage was so good. The 2 feeding stations where in village hall's with marshalls looking over the bikes. The food was great. The route itself had some good climbs so ideal for those who love them. Already looking forward to doing it again next year

Expertly organised, super friendly supportive organisers, great food stops and mechanical support, great startline and finishing line atmosphere
    • Did the 103 Mile in 2017

Did this ride a couple of years ago as my partner got me it for a Birthday present. Was a fantastic ride, well organised. Excellent value for money. Challenging route too. Would definitely recommend but make sure you are on form as I had took my foot off the gas training wise and I'm a FLAB so did find it tough. Achieved it though and really enjoyed it.
