Route information
Starting at Tring Train Station, you will set off an epic guided trail adventure. Starting as a gradual but long climb up to Ivinghoe Beacon via the Ridgeway, the route winds through various woods and nature reserves, before opening out on to a ridge with far-reaching views across the Chilterns. Your legs will then get a well-deserved break as you follow compact forest trails through the Ashridge Estate towards the Bridgewater Monument. Here you can take a pit stop and maybe buy a hot coffee or cake at the National Trust Monument Café, before venturing on towards Tring Park with its impressive views and imposing obelisk. Finally, you will re-join the Ridgeway and make your way back down towards the train station where you will say your goodbyes.
You will have two running guides with you throughout the run, who will give you tips and tricks about trail technique. Plus, with them on hand, there's no need to worry about navigation!
