Scenic surroundings and a challenging technical course. The event is free hosted by the National Trust. Extremely well organised, friendly marshals.
  • Did the 10k in 2018

The support of the Marshalls and admim. But when dry dog's don't like the shale on some patches as it cuts the paws. But a great venue.

A great course in fun conditions. Personally, I enjoy a bit of mud and drizzle. It was December after all. Highly recommend this varied, challenging and fun monthly 10k event.

Well organised 10km trail (mostly trail with some tarmac) run. Ran for the first time in a while on 23rd December 2018. Very muddy which was like an old fashioned school cross country. You need trail shoes if it's been wet. Never going to be a pb course but quick enough to keep you challenged. It's three and a bit laps which for those who like to sight see may feel repetitive but has the benefit of getting to know the terrain quickly with its twists, turns and undulations. All in all very enjoyable.
