Route information
In this 6-hour event, run as much and as far as you can during the time allowed and push your own boundaries to earn your turkey. With an easy-to-navigate 5.3k lap through the grounds, focus on your running and complete as many laps as you can. Run as much or as little as you want, go all 6 hours or rest and listen to music after each lap at the aid station, take it at your own pace.
The course is a 5.3k lap of the grounds, with only a small section of the course on a rarely-used public footpath. With small inclines rather than hills, this course is primarily flat and mainly follows an undulating pathway.
Whether you're taking on your first ever 5k or you're looking for a new challenge in the ultra, this multi-terrain, mostly-flat undulating course is ready for you.
As long as you are leaving base camp by 5:59:59 you get to run the course again.

Did the Marathon in 2021
The race organisers are lovely and encouraging. The facilities are sadly lacking due to the location though. No proper toilets and running water to wash hands, no where to change and no proper HQ for the race. It might be okay in the Summer but in the winter when you are soaked from a run, you want to be able to change indoors atleast (especially for ladies). Course can get very secluded and lonely as well, as it is in the fields. Need to keep wits about you.
