The races consist of a 1-mile fun run (which all ages and abilities can enter) and a 7-mile “Trotter” (which is open to runners aged 16 and above). Everyone who completes the fun run receives a medal. Runners in the main race receive a goodie bag stashed with all sorts of stuff, including a race T-shirt. Race results for the main race are provided on the day. Results for both races are posted on this website by the morning of the Monday after the race.

The organisation was good. The course was rather too much road for my liking especially as it was narrow lanes and no road closures. The atmosphere was good. I would like to see consistency on MTRS races as to whether age prizes are 5 year or 10 year bands - as the MTRS series does 5 year bands for the series this would appear logical to do rather than 10 year bands as Tywardreath does.
