Ultra Black Trails
Ultra Black Trails was founded by Dora Atim in 2020 and was inspired by her love for trail running and the great outdoors. She understands all too well that getting out onto the trails is hard enough for anyone at first, but the lack of diversity in the sport makes it even harder for some.
Ultra Black Trails aims to create a safe space for black woman and non-gender conforming people to turn up, and truly own their place at the starting line.
Having teamed up with Maverick and MOJU for this event, everyone now has the opportunity to support this amazing mission, providing support to empower under-represented runners.
Without the emotional, physical and financial barriers, Ultra Black Trails hopes to grow a more diverse trail running scene, one where everyone is welcome, no matter their race, gender or PB.
This event is for runners from any background to come and discover new experiences and escape their comfort zones whilst they embrace the wonders of nature.
The Running Charity
For every place booked on the Maverick Ultra Black Trail, Let's Do This will donate the value of a place to The Running Charity, an incredibly important charity that provides services and running programmes to young people in the UK experiencing homelessness or complex needs. Lets remove barriers together.
Entrants can also choose to add a donation to the running charity when purchasing their ticket. This £5 or £10 donation will go straight to the charity themselves.
