Returning for its fifth edition, this route guides runners through the beautiful Welsh landscape in Snowdonia. Beginning at the Coed-y-Brenin Visitor Centre in Dolgefeiliau, runners will head up towards the River Mawddach and past the famous waterfall of Pistyll Cain. The course then heads downriver towards the village of Ganllwyd and into South Snowdonia. Crossing the river will bring runners into Dolgellau, where they will continue south until reaching the town of Minffordd.
The route then turns west, looping past the stunning waters of Lyn Cau, bringing runners into the ascent of Cadair Idris Penygader. Heading north towards the ancient woodland of Abergwynant, the course hugs the banks of the River Mawddach down past the village of Arthog, finally crossing the river into Barmouth.
