A nice event very challenging made worse by the rains they had obviously had over the last couple of week but of cause the organizers cant be blamed for that loved the cake at the end and everyone was very smiley and friendly

Only my second 10k and a very challenging run! Mainly due to weeks of heavy rain which meant wading through some very boggy areas. But wonderful views, lovely atmosphere and amazing lemon drizzle cake and tea at the end. Would definitely repeat!

Wonderful course- quite challenging, with a few good hills and absolutely stunning scenery. Very well signposted course, good feed stations. Lots of support from marshals. would 100% recommend.

I was unable to attend due to illness (I was not able to receive a refund) however I did feel it was unfair that the 10k was then a 12k that’s a big increase and I felt uneasy that the course was over roads and through land the farmers weren’t happy about being used.

I booked through a partner site, where it stated this would be 10km. I was then emailed with less than a week to go to say it would be 12km instead. When I emailed the organiser to tell him of my concerns (chiefly that I have a medical condition affecting my feet and had only been training for 10km, and did not know how the additional distance would be for them), he completely dismissed my concerns and ignored further emails. I will not be booking again.

My first trail run, challenging for me, but great fun. I would do it again , perhaps half marathon next time!

The event was brilliantly organised and the volunteers were extremely helpful and encouraging. The course was treacherous in parts but I'm not sure that could be avoided due to recent weather. The views on the run were superb. All in all I had a brilliant day (even with sodden feet).
