The Trosley Challenge was a great way to introduce me to trail running its so different to road runnning so do some research on what to expect because its nothing like road running Well organised and all the marshals were helpful and very encouraging I would say to anyone wishing to give trail running ago then go for it was a great experience even though I have just started doing this kind of event after many years of it being just a thought I finally got there and dont let age be a barrier either I am hoping in just three weeks time to complete a half marathon trail run.I realise there are many trail runners out there that exceed that kind of distance but I want to be sensible about taking on this new adventure because you will need stamina and a very positive mind set.
