Starting in September, sign up for a monthly target of 30, 50 or 75 miles of buggy running. Stay motivated and keep totting up your miles throughout the month to earn your amazing chunky themed medal (optional, pics below) and certificate. You'll also get access to a supportive running community that celebrates where running takes us rather than speed or distance.

When there's sleepless nights, play-dates to coordinate and mashed potato to scrape off the ceiling, sometimes it feels hard to squeeze in regular buggy runs. So we've created manageable monthly challenges to motivate you to keep lacing up your trainers and getting out there to clock up a few more miles. Run or walk - you choose. But the miles only count if your buggy is with you!

Which distance is right for you?
30 miles - Works out at 7.5 miles per week (or 3 x 2.5 miles per week)
50 miles - Works out at 12.5 miles per week (5 x 2.5 miles / 1 x 10km and 2 x 5km per week)
75 miles - Works out at 19 miles per week (or 5 x 3.8 miles per week)

When you've completed your challenge, we'll send you a unique eco-friendly, wooden medal in the post (optional) and a certificate by email.

Why Buggy Running?
This event is organised by Secret London Runs - whose founder is a keen buggy runner. We want to create a motivating community for buggy runners during this difficult time. And in the long term, we'd really like to offer our themed running tours of London as buggy runs. So this is our first step to getting there. We're really excited to have you join us.

Frequently asked questions

How do I record my activity?
To record your activity, you will need to download an activity tracking app that is able to track your distance and time. Popular apps include Strava, Nike Run Club, MapMyRun, and RunKeeper, and are available in the app store for free on your phone. For more details on our favourite tracking apps check out our blog post.
Can I go further than the race distance?
Yes, you can complete a distance further than what the event requires. All you need to do is input distance travelled and time, and we will adjust it down to the time it took to complete the event distance.
