Lovely event, really good for Wakefield. Lots of clubs attend as well as individuals. An event really open to all abilities. Closed roads with lots of marshals, very friendly and encouraging volunteers.

Great little 10k. Scenery is ok but the crowds are better. Definitely one to try if it's your first time.

First Wakefield race this year, it will now feature on the annual calendar. Great event, very well supported. Awesome for beginners and fast ones alike. Great buzz, fast course :-)

It was fantasic, and good having pacers! The course is an out and back, the streets are clear for runners and the course is always lined by supporters, it's an amazing 10k

It's the only road race I've returned to, this year being my 3rd year. Love that its run locally for the community. Really friendly crowds and runners. I'll be back again in 2020

I love that its big enough to feel like a top end race withouth being over crowded or impersonal. Organised by local hospice (which I didnt know before) with profit going there. Listen to feedback and always try to give runners best experience.

My favourite 10k, done it for the last 2 years. It was very well organised and a great atmosphere. Will be entering again next year.

Absolutely loved this 10k, fantastic atmosphere, lovely people and really well organised. I run with Sarah Powala and Jamie Strachen supporting Wakefield Hospice and Sarah's #10KADIM 10k a Day in May challenge. Maybe I'm a little biased as Wakefield is now my official 10K PB course !
