Route information
The course will be fully lit by street lights, and it takes place on completely closed roads, so you will have good visibility and total safety. Many night races go off on trails, but this route sticks solely to roads. It is a great opportuntiy to try out night running in a safe and enjoyable environment.

10k – Entrants must be 15 or over. This cannot be adjusted due to the rules of UK Athletics that the race runs under. All 15 to 17 year olds wishing to take part will need parental or guardian permission.

Let's Do This always advise that you arrive at least 45 mins before the start of the event so that you have enough time to register and then prep for the event start.
Event day logistics
The race will begin at 7.30pm. Runners have 2 hours to complete the race. If any runners are still on route at 9.30pm they will be asked to move to the pavement for their safety, and the safety of those involved with the event. The timing mats and finish area will be dismantled at 9.30pm ready for the roads to re-open at 10.00pm. You will still be able to finish, you just won’t receive an official finish time.
Spectator Info
Are welcome! At the hospice there are toilets as well as hot food and drink to enjoy whilst your loved ones run! All profits from the food and drinks on the night come back to the hospice.

refreshmentsWhen will I receive my number?
There are three collection events, on Tuesday 8th October (3pm – 8pm at Wakefield Hospice), Wednesday 9th October (4pm – 7pm venue TBC) and Thursday 10th October (3pm – 8pm at Wakefield Hospice). Here you will be able to collect your number, chip, race guide and participants t-shirt to wear on the night.If you can’t attend, someone else can collect your pack for you just simply pass them your event entry confirmation to show on arrival.
