My first Wakefield Hospice 10k but not my last , fantastic atmosphere, wonderful volunteers and helpers , great easy parking, it was an amazing sight to see everyone in the same T-shirts . Great event, I have run many 10ks and the organisation of this was up there with the best. No problem collecting packs, great t-shirts, lovely atmosphere. Was my friends first official race and she loved it and got a PB too x

Loved this inaugural event. Had such a blast. And although the course was challenging anyone new would have enjoyed it at their pace.

Whilst the course is undulating, any slopes are well spread so there is plenty of time to recover. I got a PB on this course so they've got something right! Really well organised and put together. A very special buzz about the event too.

This was my first ever race and I absolutely loved it - it was so nice everyone running in the same tops, it meant I didn't feel out of place against all the club runners and super fast ones! The volunteers were lovely, and the crowds were bigger than I expected. I will be back!

I did this run as it was a local one and wasn’t disappointed! Parking was excellent being in very close proximity to the start. Just a couple of issues trying to cross the main roads to the actual start point. The run appeared well organised and there were plenty off Marshall’s out on the course! The course was downhill and flat on the way out then undulating on the way back with an uphill to the finish which was a challenge! A medal at the end would have topped it off! Lack of water at the finish was disappointing. Found water being handed out half way up the hill walking back up to car park, along with chia bars being handed out! Run was excellent and will definitely return next year. 😁

I absolutely loved this race. Fab parking and a wonderful atmosphere. I cannot emphasise enough just how brilliant the organisation was. We arrived, everyone was able to access the race and I didn’t see an unhappy face anywhere. Not a PB course, quite undulating but running at night in the same T shirt was a great idea. Will be there next year for sure!

Very convenient being able to park in the hospital car park and walk across the road. It needed a bit more atmosphere at the start, a count down like Sheffield 10k would be good.or some music at the finish. Overall a great event though
