  • Trail shoes – don’t worry if you don’t have trail-specific shoes, during the Spring/Summer months you could get away with road shoes, but be prepared for them to get slightly muddy.
  • Long sleeve/base layer – for when you stop.
  • Fully charged mobile phone.
  • At least 500ml water.
  • Snacks – energy bars, gels etc.
  • Sun hat or cap/buff style multifunctional headwear.
  • Waterproof jacket (depending on the forecast).

Really enjoyable run at Waldringfield, completed at a social pace. Perfect as a first trail run for beginners, well organised and friendly.
