Route information
The Wales Swimrun will take place along The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Starting at Freshwater East, the race will move east taking in Manorbier, Lydstep, Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge and ending back in Saundersfoot. All running will be off-road following the Pembrokeshire Coast path with 4 feed stations positioned on the route.
In Total, the event is just over 24 Kilometers of running and 7 Kilometers of swimming.
There will be team entries and individual entries as well as 2 distances.
Wetsuits compulsory. Tow floats optional. All teams must not be more than 10m apart at a time during the race. (tied swims recommended)
Run 1 - From start to Bay
Swim 1 - Freshwater East Bay - 930m
Run 2 - Freshwater East Bay - Manorbier - 4k
Swim 2 - Manorbier Bay – Manorbier Beach - 920m
Run 3 – Manorbier Beach - Lydstep -4.85k
SPRINT DISTANCE START - Lydstep Haven (RUN 630m)
Swim 3 - Lydstep Beach - 900m

Race Packs
All event content will be sent out to participants via email approximately 2 weeks before the event to ensure the content is as up to date as possible.
Everything you will need for the event will be available to collect at registration on race day. Please bring photo ID on the day.

FAQs
Do i have to be in a team?
No you can do the event as an individual or as a team.
What aids are we allowed?
Hand Paddles & swim buoys are allowed. Tow Floats are optional. No flippers
Do I need a swim cap?
You must wear the Activity Wales Events swim cap provided for the event. This will be given to you at registration.
What is the minimum age to enter The Wales Swimrun?
The minimum age is 18 years of age for the full distance and 16 for the sprint distance.
Where are the feed stations?
The Feed Stations will be placed at Manorbier, Lydstep, Tenby and Saundersfoot
