By Car
Follow the M6 then turn onto the M65 and follow signs into Blackburn before turning onto the A674. Take the right towards Pleasington then find the starting area at the Butlers Arms.

Event meeting point
The meeting point for the “Walk for Charity” at Witton Park on 16th July 2022 will be at the leisure centre which is located next to the main car park. Please arrive at 10.15am so that you can be briefed by the lead before the walk. Please note the route is family and pram friendly. The length of the walk will be 2 miles long - led by an experienced professional.
Please see the sponsorship form attached in the text and try to get family and friends to sponsor your walk. This will help raise as much money as possible for the charities. Please bring the form and money on the day of the event.
Charity Fundraising
Thank you for registering for “Walk for Charity”, the aim of this event is to raise funds for the mayoral charities including East Lancashire Hospice, Anaphylaxis UK and Nightsafe as well as other charities that are made aware throughout the year. This is the first of many events through the year that is hosted by The Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen.

There is a public toilet located at the event site.
Age Requirements
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Lastly, 16+ will be classed as adults and under 16 will be classed as children.
Those aged 15 and below must be accompanied by an adult.
