Route information
The Warrington Running Festival hosted by RunThrough is the perfect opportunity to test your speed at the end of a great summer running season.
The route will start and finish at the iconic Golden Gates of Warrington's Town Hall, and will be run on fast and flat closed roads, providing the perfect opportunity to smash a new PB and explore Warrington in a new way.

Please plan in advance as local parking options will fill up quickly. Consider parking options within a mile of the Town Hall and walk to the venue.

Warrington Bank Quay rail station is a short walk from the event village and is on the Liverpool to Manchester line.

Race Pack
Race Packs must be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race, from registration. Please be aware that you will not receive anything in the post.
Age Requirements
Runners for the 5k must be aged 11 or over, runners for the 10k must be aged 15 or over and half marathon runners must be aged 17 or over.
Bag Drop
There will be a secure area where bags can be left, though it is recommended that you bring as little baggage as possible. Your bag tag is attached to your race number which you can tear off and attach to your bag.
Refreshments
There will be water stations at regular intervals around the course as well as at the finish where flapjacks and bananas will be waiting for finishers.
Headphones
It is not recommended that you wear headphones during the race so you stay alert to what is going on around you and hear the encouragement from marshals.
Race Results
Your race timings will be published on the RunThrough results page after the race.

Given that it is a closed-road race, it is the perfect place to cheer on your runners the whole way around the course.

Great run. Just a bit chaotic at the start. Couldnt see our pacer and ended up near the back so had to get through lots of people.
