At the Warwickshire Triathlon our “Fun” and “Sprint” distances are very popular with first timers and beginners, with short achievable distances that still offer a challenge.

Our fun & friendly events are open to everyone and an ideal introduction for beginners to the sport of triathlon.

We can offer lots of support and online beginners advice to help make your Triathlon the best it could possibly be for you.

As well as a great atmosphere, you are sure to gain a special sense of achievement as you cross the finish line to receive that all important “finishers” medal and confirmation the end result was worth every bit of hard work!

Each member of the relay team completes one of the three disciplines in the triathlon

At registration you will be given an electronic timing chip that must be worn on the ankle and is relayed to the finish line. After completing the swim, the swimmer passes the electronic chip to the cyclist inside the cycle transition area next to where the cycle is racked, the cyclist must not take their cycle off the rack until receiving the electronic chip. The cyclist completes the cycle course and passes the electronic chip over to the runner in the transition area only when the cycle has been placed back on the rack.

The runner completes the run and hands in the electronic chip at the finish line

Relay awards are based on all female and all male teams. All male teams can consist of three men, two men and one women or one man and two women

Can I enter a mixed relay team?

Yes, however, please be aware that the team may not be eligible for a prize should they finish in the top three.

Can my relay team be made up of just two people?

Yes, a relay team can have only two people in it.

The course is spectator friendly and all the action can be seen at the rear of the Leisure Centre where the main transition area and finish line are situated.

    Did the Sprint in 2019

Gorgeous bike and run routes. Loved the Tri but felt it lacked some crucial organisation. You can't rack bikes or enter transition until 20mins before your start time, which is a little frustrating. If you have a later time it means hanging about and tight rack space. The car park is huge so not sure why transition zone wasn't bigger. Not many marshals on bike route and quite a few people came off bikes due to slippy roads. Swim was hectic, lots of people didn't stick to overtaking etiquette. I feel like the event needs more volunteers! Despite this I thoroughly enjoyed it, very friendly atmosphere and lovely routes.
