Great undulating route, but short of the 10k distance! Many runners took a wrong turns due to missing signs or Lack of marshalls. No record of my entry on arrival, recycled chips that would not stay on the shoe, and put me in the incorrect age bracket! Could not hear any of the pre race announcements despite standing 2m away from the start line due to a very poor PA system! The organisation was not quite up to standard but hopefully the lessons will be learned and will improve for next year!

Great venue to host the race, struggled with parking unless early. Didnt hear any of the safety briefing and the route was short of the 10k distance. Would love to do this event again however!

Not enough Marshall’s around the course, particularly on points where there were multiple routes to go. Because of this we ended up going the wrong way. Finished the course not having done a full 10K either.

Enjoyed the run. Well organised and well marshalled. First road race so nothing to compare to, but nice atmosphere and friendly bunch

What a shame for the event that the organisers didn't do a route walk before the race. One simple missing sign/arrow/marshall point cost 30 of us a lot of time, PB and in the case of the fastest lady, a race win. Other than that it is a cracking route and some decent local support. Please organiser, sort it out next year. Don't blame the marshalls they were positioned where they were told.

A number of us got lost due to lack of signposts and marshals. This cost me a pb. Looking at other people's activity it was only about 6 miles so short of a 10k.

Not enough marshals on route, some runners went the wrong way. We could not hear announcements at the start. The route was challenging but enjoyable
