Wesham 10k
About
The Wesham 10k is one of the North West’s oldest continually running 10k road races. Held every November, the race is slightly undulating, running around the lanes of Salwick and Lea Town. The first Wesham 10k race in 1986 was completed by 154 runners. Since then the event has grown continually and regularly attracts a good quality, large field of runners. The Wesham 10k sold out weeks before race day in both 2016 and 2017 and is quickly becoming one of the most popular races in the North West.

Prizes will be award to the first 3 male and female finishers. There will also be prizes for first junior male and female, and all masters categories from M40 to M80+ for men and W35 to W70+ for women.
There is also a team prize for the first male and female team. This will be decided based on the position of the first 4 runners.

If you are not a member, now's the time to join. We are "The Friendly Club" and you will enjoy yourselves - promise! Wesham is a small town situated next to Kirkham in the Fylde area of Lancashire just a few miles from Preston and Blackpool. We meet every Monday evening at 6.45 p.m. for 7:00 p.m. at Kirkham and Wesham Cricket Club, Kirkham and new members are always welcome. We have a wide range of standards from novice to international and you can be sure that someone will be available to run with you - male or female.
