The 1500m swim (2 750m loops) will start on West Beach and heads west along the coast towards Eype, looping around the Buoy and back to the swim exit, the run to transition 1 is approx. 200 meters.
The 47k bike is an undulating course through the stunning Dorset countryside, before returning to West Bay.
The 8.9k run on the coastal path back to Bridport starts flat, but features some tough hill tests along the way. The route is mostly off-road, but will have some sections on tarmac. Luckily the home stretch to the finish line is downhill, and provides some epic coastal views.

The 400m sea swim will start on West Beach and will head west along the coast towards Eype, then will exit the water and onto the beach. The run to transition 1 is approx 300 metres before riders will hop on their bike.
The 26k bike is a fast ride around some beautiful Dorset villages, before returning to West Bay.
The 5.5k run to finish follows the footpath back to Bridport. The route is mostly off-road, but hits the tarmac for one last ascent before you'll be zooming down the finishing straight.
Super Sprint

The 200m super-sprint swim will start on West beach and is a simple swim out and around the groin (and a buoy) that separates the two beaches. After transitioning, participants will hop on the bike.
The 18k bike section of the event will take you from West Bay along quiet country roads out to Puncknowle before heading back to Transition 2 at West Bay. It's a relatively flat ride, however, there are a couple of gentle inclines.
The 3.5k run is an off-road run that will take you from West Bay and back towards Bridport. The route is flat and will be fast for those with energy still left in the legs.

Various parking is available throughout West Bay.
By Car
Please use the post code DT6 4HE.
  • When travelling from the East follow the M3 and M27 with journey times from the M25 are in the region of 2 – 2.5 hours.
  • From the West follow the M5 and then the A30 onto the A35, Journey times from Exeter are about 1 Hour.
  • From the North follow the M5 till Taunton and then the A358 to chard, From Taunton is approx. an hour.

There will be a small safety brief on the start line just before the race begins for all distances. If you miss this briefing, you will not be allowed to compete.
