1) course was too long (6.26 miles) adding an extra 80+ meters. I checked my watch against the top 10 we all had it measured too far. Very poor.2) race takes place on the sea front but on the promenade which was not closed on a busy Sunday morning. This meant navigating past all sorts of oblivious people walking across runners / dog owners that think they own the paths. Also the route takes you across very narrow stretches which would be ok it the path was closed. Instead walkers and dog owners were still using the path which meant for the runners either stopping or going on the gravel. The organisers did nothing to at least shout at pedestrians to beware runners (how you couldn’t notice 300 who knows). They were silent. The Worthing run in October is much better on closed roads for a few hours. I was very disappointed and left quite frustrated by the course distance and could have just run this myself for free in a Sunday morning. We even had to run on the road for a short time navigating park cars and traffic from behind us. There was no Marshall’s here too again very poor.If you use public paths on a sunny day the marshalling needs to be much better. Perhaps starting by asking the public not to stand directly on the course and telling dog owners that their dog jumping towards / sniffing you if very tiring. Just saying he won’t bite is so arrogant.3) all we received was a medal and a water carton. Usually you get at least a protein bar.4) toilet facilities were at bowls green so had to wait to even get in as there is only one loo5) the start was a free for all. Many slow runners starting near the front crammed in. No time guides to split runners up like all other embraces have, so you can start at least roughly in the right place.6) 5k and 10k races started together. Not sure why they could. It have started half hour apart. This did not help if your worried about covid, and actually was quite frustrating as the 5k runners turned after 5 minutes so the person you were helping pace in front disappeared leaving big gaps to anyone else in front.Overall - nice venue and flat course if it had been closed or much better marshalled. Expect to run around the public, avoid dogs, run through a cafe and navigate cars. Don’t expect anything other then a medal and a course too long presumably to save money having the end some 80/85 metres from the start. What a shame.

A nice seafront run. Well organised. A good one to get under any runner's belt. No traffic course.

Bit disappointed with the poor marshalling. Got slightly lost at one point. No crowd control and wasn’t handed a medal at the end. Luckily a friend told us where to get our medals from. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this race!

The 10k (which I ran) was fine, despite the wind. But the 5k (which my partner ran) was HALF A KILOMETRE TOO LONG - that's an outrageous error. To make matters worse, the organisers had a really poor attitude on social media towards those that brought up the issue.

I ran this with my niece, it was her first 5k and despite running Im a pair of knackered old trainers and heading into a 40mph headwind on the return leg she enjoyed it. The course was longer than 5k though. My Garmin watch measured it to be 5.5 kilometres??

Very well organised event this was my 3rd year running and each year has been excellent. Lovely clear flat route well marshalled and beautiful seafront views following the path! 2019 excellent as always with an additional 50mph winds thanks WW10k

Organisation was good but the start was a bit delayed and there was a lot of talking, on a warm day this would've been fine but it was cold so I think a lot of runners wanted to get going
