Always Aim High Events's logo
Always Aim High Events was founded in 2010 by Tim Lloyd and Nigel 'Kenny' Kendrick. The first event was the now iconic Slateman Triathlon 2011 attracting just over 400 competitors (it now regularly exceeds 1,000), with a vision that included the Snowman and Sandman - the three events which now make up the Adventure Triathlon Series. From that one event we now host 34 all inclusive events over 9 weekends, with many more planned for 2019 and beyond. In 2015 Always Aim High Community Events was set up as a not for profit organisation to help with engaging with and hosting local community events. At Always Aim High we are extremely proud about delivering the UK's ultimate triathlon, cycling, running and swimming challenges in the most beautiful and iconic locations that we can find. From epic mountain, coastal and city triathlons, to breathtaking cycle sportives which cover the length and bredth of Snowdonia, there's something for everyone at Always Aim High Events!

Firstly, the information was detailed and the updated information was delivered a week ago. Secondly, staff / helper were careful. One of them found my bike’s problem. He then used a tape to cover the incisive part. Thirdly, the location was very nice. You biked and ran besides the sheep. Lastly, the medal was not the beautiful one I think. But, anyway, it was overall well-organized and safe and funny event! See you next year!

Loved the setting, well organised. Disappointing bits - not knowing there was a shoe drop for the swim. Those stones were not easy underfoot. The swim course was difficult and too small for the number of participants. The run lacked imagination when there is the whole of Weston park to utilise. Narrow in places for passing

Great venue and well run BUT….something needs to be done about the swim, literally 1ft deep in places, people just standing up and walking, need to source a larger lake and this event would be perfect t. Other than that really enjoyed the event, course was clear when on it and the Marshalls we all very supportive and well informed. One more thing……as far as hand outs go the water bottle etc is great but the best handout here would have been a pair of flip flops after having to walk so far in bare feet to the start All in all a really well ran day, congrats to the organisers
