Weston Super Half routes

The stunning Somerset coastline makes for an incredible route. Starting and finishing at the Grand Pier, runners make their way South past the SeaQuarium and in-land, uphill towards Weston General Hospital. Runners will then circle back towards the ocean and Marine Parade.

Participants must reach 10 miles by 13:00 in order to avoid the cut-off. If runners have not reached this point they will be turned around and allowed to finish the remainder of the course. Unfortunately this is strictly enforced because of the road closures.

Loved this run! The sun was shining and you could see right over to Wales. There was even a section running on the beach (hard sand though) and a great finish on the pier. It was really friendly, and there was plenty of space to get around people etc. Be warned, I didn't expect the hills around mile 10/11 ish, but it did mean a descent back to the seafront and the finish. Medal could be better :)!

A wonderful run, mixture of road, off road, beach. No steep climbs just gentle undulation. Marvelous finish on the pier. Well organised you will find this one of the nicest runs you will ever do
